Orders & Shipping

Log in to your account on dravyaa.in and navigate to the "My Orders" section to see all past and current orders.

A confirmation of your order will also be sent to both your registered WhatsApp number and email address shortly after placing the order. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.

Since every Dravyaa piece is made to order, please allow 7–14 working days for production before dispatch. Once shipped, standard delivery within India takes 3–5 working days.

Express shipping is available at checkout. All orders are processed via TRAC91 and you will receive a tracking link as soon as the order leaves our tailor's unit.

As soon as the order is shipped from our tailor's unit in Dharavi, you will receive an email and/or SMS with your TRAC91 tracking details. Please check your junk or spam folder too — tracking emails sometimes land there.

If you haven't received tracking details within 15 working days of placing the order, write to us at cloth@dravyaa.in.

Yes — as long as your order has not been dispatched, we can update your delivery address. Once the order leaves our tailor's unit, we are unable to modify it.

If you wish to change to an international address, any additional shipping costs will be borne by the customer. If you switch from international shipping back to an Indian address, the difference in shipping fees will be refunded as Store Credit.

Write to us at cloth@dravyaa.in with your order number and the updated address.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery timelines for international orders will be calculated at checkout based on your location. Customs duties and import taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.

Yes. We offer partial Cash on Delivery at checkout — a small advance is paid online to confirm the order, and the remaining balance is collected at the time of delivery. The split is shown clearly before you complete payment.

Returns & Exchanges

Yes, we offer reverse pickup for eligible returns within India. This service is not available for international orders.

In some locations, reverse pickup may not be serviceable by our courier partner. In that case, we will ask you to self-ship the item back to us and will credit the full amount as Store Credit once received.

We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed pieces in their original condition with tags intact.

Because every piece is made to order for you, we do not offer refunds to the original payment method — returns are issued as Store Credit, which can be used on any future order.

Exchanges for a different size are always our first preference. Write to us at cloth@dravyaa.in with your order number and we'll sort it out.

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order, before production begins. After that, since the fabric has already been cut and the piece is in progress, we are unable to cancel.

To request a cancellation, write to cloth@dravyaa.in immediately with your order number.

We believe in pieces that last — which is why we offer mending for Dravyaa garments. If a seam comes undone, a button is lost, or the garment needs minor repair, send it back to us and we'll have Faroukbhai fix it.

Mending is offered free of charge for manufacturing defects. For wear-and-tear repairs, we charge a nominal cost. Shipping to us is the customer's responsibility; we ship the mended piece back at no charge within India.

The Cloth & Product

Our cloth is made in small batches by artisans, not mass-produced by machines. Each batch may have slight differences in the print due to the human involvement in the process — the speed of the hand, the pressure of the block, the temperature of the day.

These irregularities are not flaws. They are the signature of handmaking. They are what makes your piece genuinely one of a kind.

We photograph every piece in natural light as close to the true colour as possible. However, camera lenses and screen calibrations vary — there will always be a small gap between what you see on screen and what arrives in person.

Additionally, for pieces dyed with natural dyes (indigo, madder, turmeric, pomegranate rind), colour will vary slightly between batches — this is the nature of natural dyeing and is mentioned on every product page. It is a feature, not a defect.

A slub is a small thickening in a handspun thread where the spinner's hand paused. It creates a slight texture variation in the weave — completely natural, and the very thing that distinguishes handspun khadi from machine-made fabric.

We look for slubs. They are the fingerprint of handmaking. No two metres of our cloth are exactly alike.

Khadi is handspun and handwoven cotton from our Heritage line. It is lightweight, breathable, and grows softer with every wash. It comes from Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh — one of the oldest khadi-weaving traditions in India.

Linen is our Essentials line — plant-based, durable, and naturally moisture-wicking. It is more structured than khadi and holds its shape through the day. It will wrinkle; we consider this a feature.

Khadi: Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring. Dry in shade. Iron on medium while slightly damp. The first wash is the most important — after that, the fabric finds its shape.

Linen: Machine wash on a gentle, cold cycle. Tumble dry low or line dry. Iron while damp on medium-high heat. Linen will wrinkle — we recommend wearing it that way.

For natural-dyed pieces, wash separately for the first two washes. Cold water only — heat will fade the colour faster.

Our fabrics are pre-washed before cutting, which minimises shrinkage. You may notice a very slight tightening (up to 2–3%) after the first wash — this is normal for natural fibres. We account for this in our measurements.

To keep shrinkage minimal: always wash in cold water and avoid tumble drying at high heat.

Sizing & Fit

Every product page has a size guide with chest, waist, hip, and shoulder measurements for each size (XXS–L). We recommend measuring yourself with a soft tape rather than going by your usual size in other brands.

You can also set up your fit profile in your account — once saved, your measurements will auto-fill for every order and we'll recommend the best size for each piece.

Yes. Since every piece is made to order, we can tailor to your exact measurements. Add your measurements in the order notes at checkout, or write to us at cloth@dravyaa.in before placing the order.

Custom sizing may add 2–3 working days to production time and is offered at no extra charge.

Our cuts are generally relaxed and designed to move with the body — if you are between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up for comfort. That said, it depends on the piece: kurtas tend to run slightly loose; the overshirt is more structured.

If you're unsure, write to us on WhatsApp with your measurements and the piece you're ordering. We'll tell you exactly which size to pick.

About Dravyaa

Every Dravyaa piece is made by named artisans. Sri Ramana weaves our khadi in Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh. Faroukbhai Shaikh and his team stitch every garment in Dharavi, Mumbai. Meenaben Patel dyes our natural-dyed pieces in Kutch, Gujarat.

Their names go on the tags. You can read their full stories on our Makers page.

We were offered viscose, bamboo blends, organic polyester, Tencel, modal. We said no to all of it. Khadi and linen are the two most honest, breathable, and durable natural fabrics for the Indian climate. Everything else felt like a compromise.

Two fabrics, done properly, is enough.
